The Belvedere Resort a beachfront hotel , established as a company in 2012 and operational since 2014, is nestled on the southeastern coast of Zanzibar, boasting a prime location directly along the endless expanse of fine white sandy beach of the Indian Ocean. Adjacent to the resort lies the native fishermen village of Jambiani, offering guests a glimpse into the vibrant local life. Situated approximately 45 km from the airport and 40 km from Stone Town, the journey to the resort takes you through the enchanting Jozani Forest National Park, where, if fortunate, you may catch sight of the iconic red colobus monkeys from your car.

First 5 Bungalows

Our story began in 2014 with a vision of a haven on the shores of Zanzibar. We opened our doors with just 5 bungalows, welcoming guests to experience the island's beauty and warmth.

6 double rooms with air conditioning and a pool completed the hotel.

As we grew alongside the increasing popularity of Zanzibar, we expanded our offerings in 2019. Introducing two distinct room types allowed us to cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our guests, ensuring a comfortable and personalized stay for everyone.
